I guess some people lose sight of what this subculture is truly supposed to represent, which is unity. We have all fallen on hard times, felt the feeling of being unaccepted, or some other feeling that drove us to this community. Like I said, some of us lose sight of that and it takes a painful reminder to help us regain the reminder that this is a community and everyone at some point needs help.
With that said, a friend of mine has been going through a lot and could use some help. Some of his best friends set up a blog- http://merchformatt.blogspot.com. They've been putting things on ebay to raise money for him. Everything from records, to shirts, to paintings and I'm sure more will be added shortly.
